The host of the Kanto Fair was doing a demonstration of the three Starter Pokémon that are available to any trainer who choose to start their journey in Kanto and the first Pokémon she presented was Charmander. It enjoyed showing off its Ember attack in a flashy contest-like way. However, this caused it to become dizzy, and as a result, Charmander collided with some stage equipment and suffered minor injuries. However, Nurse Joy was able to quickly treat its injuries and after a short stay in the Pokémon Center, it was back to its old self.

Charmander's only known move is Ember.
