:::Hmm... As I've always been taught that you do not need a "s" after the apostrophe, I apologize for that. However, if you read the second paragraph, it says that "some writer's will leave out the second s." Yes, the ''Elements of Style'' book suggests you use the second "s" but it also says that some words, such as Mr. Chambers, sound clunky when you add the second "s." I believe when someone reads, "Jameses" (what they hear in their head/out loud), it may have that "clunky" effect, sort of like when Gollum says, "hobbitses," lol. Then again, I'm new here; best leave it to the experts. --[[User:FireGambit|<span style="color:#C84040">'''F'''</span><span style="color:#E88058">ire</span><span style="color:#C84040">'''G'''</span><span style="color:#E88058">ambit</span>]] ([[User talk:FireGambit|<span style="color:#5A96C5">talk</span>]]) 17:47, 31 January 2014 (UTC) | :::Hmm... Welcome to Bulbapedia, FireGambit! | |
By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

Thank you, and have a good time editing here! |
Of Whom
This wording implies a specific Bulbasaur, or a specific Charmander. We are trying to avoid using singular words that describe an individual, and use words to describe the species as a whole. Also, the XY information doesn't need to be mentioned in the opening paragraph, as they are not a Kalos Starter Pokémon. We have that information in the location box in the locations section of the article.--ForceFire 04:26, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- Okay, sorry for making you go through all my edits and fix them. Do you mind linking me to your policies page? FireGambit (talk) 04:30, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- Here's the category containing our policies.--ForceFire 04:35, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you. Also, why can't I edit my profile? I'd like to do something like what you have on yours, but it says I need to make an edit before I can create my profile. Haven't I made an edit? FireGambit (talk) 04:38, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- You need to make a specific amount of edits to be able to edit your userpage, an amount that I do not know myself. Also, increase the amount of colons so your comment appears indented. For example, you would place four colons if you were to reply and I would place five colons if I were to reply back again.--ForceFire 04:57, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- Okay, thank you for all the help; I've probably been a bother. :) --FireGambit (talk) 05:00, 31 January 2014 (UTC)

James' in categories
James's is the actual spelling for the category instead of James' so keep it at James's. PattyMan 17:26, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
