(So? Still looks like an okapi.)

Oh, so now everyone's gonna gang up on me, huh? I see how it is. Well obviously an issue is ignorance, everyone just wants to go with zebra because it's the more well-known animal, and I won't argue with the thing about its name or the mane, but I still say the thing looks more like an okapi than a zebra, zebras don't just have a couple of stripes on one color. --☯ *Ɣℯⲛօӎօṫհ* ☯ 23:09, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

It's not a zebra

I think it's actually based on an okapi.

It's definitely a zebra. Its Japanese name is a corruption of the Japanese word for zebra.--Phantomjunkie 21:10, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

Okapis don't have manes, do they? --Crimsonnavy 11:15, 25 June 2010 (UTC)

Physiology for the admins to implement

Shimama is a white-on-black zebra Pokemon, with thick, pointed white stripes on its neck, chest, back and hind legs. Shimama has a large, rounded dark nose, and ovular eyes with blue irises and yellow schleras. Shimama possesses a spiked white mane, culminating at the front in a lightning-bolt-esque pointed extension; Shimama also sports stubby, triangular dark ears with blue ear insides. Its hoofed legs are tipped with white, and its tail is stubby, white-colored and pointed. Steph 15:09, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

I'd suggest that instead of using the phrase "ear insides", describe it as "the skin inside of the ears is blue." Because that's really what you're seeing on the inside of the ears.--Phantomjunkie 21:11, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

What are you talking about? This is just physiology, a mostly opinionated section. I see how it can look like an okapi, but it just looks more like a zebra. Turtwig's A-B-Cs (talk | contribs) 23:17, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
