The Johto Festival is an event organized by Khoury's dad. Ash and his friends first learn about it from Lyra, a trainer from the Johto region. One of the events in the Johto Festival is a battling competition. If one wins, they will get a egg. Another part of the Johto Festival is free food from Johto, such as a MooMoo Milk stand.
