The collection was first launched in Japan on October 9, 2020 and worldwide on October 13, 2020.

The Longchamp x Pokémon avatar backpack accessory item was made available on [[Pokémon GO]] between October 2 and November 17, 2020. Certain Pokémon had also appeared in [[List of Raid Boss changes in 2020#Longchamp Fashion Week|raids]] during the Longchamp Fashion Week.
