The Game Boy Light (Japanese: ゲームボーイライト Game Boy Light) is a handheld console produced by Nintendo that was only released in Japan. It is an improved model of the Game Boy Pocket, which in turn is an improved model of the Game Boy. Like all systems in the Game Boy family, it is not region encoded.

Trivia
- It was the only backlit Nintendo console until the Nintendo DS.
- The Game Boy Advance SP released in 2003 was frontlit, and the later backlit model Game Boy Advance SP (Model AGS-101) was not released until 2005.
