This page uneditable?

Y can't I edit the page? It was editable earlier today, and all the other pages are editable. There is a slight error on there I want to fix up! Ghostkaiba297 03:24, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

TTE protected it, only admins can edit it now.--Pokemonguy1 My talk page (haha, no link for you) 03:25, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
Why do people not understand that if you can't edit a page, but need too, write the change here and an admin will get it for you? — THE TROM — 03:27, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
He protected it because I kept on changing the two banned episodes labeled EP035 and EP038 into their original forms. At the time I thought that the edit didn't fall through, that's why I kept doing it, but I won't do it again if it gets unprotected. Ghostkaiba297 03:33, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
We should learn to use the revision history as well then.... The protection will expire on its own. Now, paste here or come back in a few days and do it yourself. — THE TROM — 03:38, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

Well, there we go. Fail, trom, fail. — THE TROM — 03:41, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
Does the pokemon reservation area (or whatever it's called) witnessed in the episode "The Kangaskhan Kid" count as an area of the Safari Zone, cause Ranger Jenny refers to the area as "Safari Zone". Is there different areas of the Safari Zone, like where you can catch Pokemon and where you can't? If so, can you fix that under the "EP035" section? Ghostkaiba297 05:08, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

Dawn's Early Night banned in New Zealand?

I'm not sure if this episode is officially banned, but for some reason it was skipped during the New Zealand run of Pokémon: Diamond & Pearl. TV2 didn't miss a week; they aired Sandshrew's Locker on July 26, then aired Tag! We're It...! the following Sunday on the 2nd of August. Is it worth a mention either here, on the TV2 page or the Dawn's Early Night article? --Bardock 09:47, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

Hmm, can you think of why it was skipped? because, DP048 aired before Dawn's Early Night, they could've accidently skipped both.--ForceFire 09:50, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
I wouldn't put it past them... That sounds like something TVNZ would do. Although during their run of Pokémon: Battle Frontier they missed airing the week the final Grand Festival episode was meant to air, then aired it the following week. New Zealand also didn't get the Australian release of the Diamond & Pearl DVDs, despite the fact that we are getting the Battle Dimension DVDs. But that's not too surprising since we didn't get the individual Rise of Darkrai DVD until after we got the three pack containing it along with the Ranger and Lucario movies. --Bardock 10:00, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
I wouldn't go as far to say as it was officially banned. There doesn't appear to be anything controversial in it, so I'd just say that TVNZ stuffed up. Again. —darklordtrom 05:52, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
The season was repeated here some time ago, and the aforementioned episode aired as normal. The original skippage was presumably an error on TVNZ's part. I can add some details on the main page, but it would probably be easier just to remove the entry entirely, possibly referencing the mishap in the episode's trivia section or not at all.--Bardock 20:04, 18 May 2012 (UTC)

I thought the episode Sick Daze was banned due to SARS scare

While going through the list of up coming episodes of Pokémon to be shown on Bomerang, I saw the episode Sick Daze listed and got confused. I thought the episode Sick Daze was banned because Brock being sick during the SARS (also Anthrax) scare(s) was seen/received negatively. I looked on here, and there was no mention of the ban; however, a Google search and even Wikipedia mentions it.

I've known Boomerang to mislabel things on their schedule. Every now and then for SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron, they list The Curse of Kataluna as a episode despite it never being finished or airing.

Was the episode banned for any reason or duration? Yamitora1 21:01, 12 March 2012 (UTC)

The Mandarin Island Miss Match

Pokémon.com skips The Mandarin Island Miss Match on Pokémon TV and goes straight from EP098 to EP100. This is not due to different dub numbering because it is listed between them on their episode listing. Chances are this is due to Lorelei Prima and/or Jynx appearing in its original black design. Has it been taken out of rotation on TV airings as well? And should we note episodes intentionally excluded from Pokémon.com's Pokémon TV on this page? --SnorlaxMonster 13:44, 7 June 2012 (UTC)

Tower of Terror

I think one reason this was temporarily banned after 9/11 was not because of its title, however because the tower itself. I mean, the tower is broken down and deserted. It looks like it had a lot of damage done to it etc. The twin towers in 9/11 obviously had damage. I have my doubts about it just being the episode's title for other reasons... I mean, it's not that difficult to make a new title and put it in the title screen and dub over it. Red (game) is not Red (Adventures) (talk) 18:36, 20 July 2012 (UTC)

"Most of the banned episodes have occurred in the United States."

The wording is a little strange. How about "The most bannings have occured in the United States"? --Perlgia (talk) 21:38, 24 September 2012 (UTC)

Regarding the two unaired Unova episodes

Should we keep them under "temporary banned", or move them to "permanently banned"? Considering that we're only weeks away from the XY anime to begin, they are unlikely to air, now. UxieLover1994 (talk) 13:43, 20 September 2013 (UTC)

I say mention they're permanently banned. This is a similar issue to the Azure Flute and Lock Capsule pages mentioning they'll be released in the future when XY are due in a few months. BW023 and BW024 are unlikely to ever air unless they're included in some special re-release as "lost episodes" but I doubt that will ever happen. --The Truth aka Relicant 14:01, 20 September 2013 (UTC)

Korean Banned Episodes

The list of banned Korean episodes were based on this list: [1] ... If anyone wants to fill in what bits of Japanese culture were in these episodes to get them banned, please be my guest. -- Nick15 (talk) 05:32, 1 May 2014 (UTC)

Could This Be Added Into The Episodes' Information or even in a Trivia section on the bottom of the page?

Beauty And The Beach, Holiday Hi-Jynx, Tentacool and Tentacruel and The Tower of Terror were all banned in the United States at some point or another, but eventually all were were released on DVD (except Beauty and the Beach) and the last two were re-entered into the episode rotation. The Legend Of Dratini and Electric Soldier Porygon both have been confirmed by Maddie Blaustein (second voice of Meowth) to have been dubbed for 4Kids, with Porygon's episode having the seizure-inducing flashes reduced so as to be safe. As of 2014, The Ice Cave is the only banned episode to not have a confirmed dubbed version or to have ever aired in America. All the other episodes (AG101, Team Plasma Vs. Team Rocket, XY024) have not been banned but skipped in all countries, including Japan, and will most likely never air anywhere out of similarities to natural disasters happening around the time of their respective original release dates, but no official ban has been placed on any of them. --BlackButterfree (talk) 18:38, 2 June 2014 (UTC)
