Psycho Boost (Japanese: サイコブースト Psycho Boost) is a damage-dealing Psychic-type move introduced in Generation III. It is the signature move of Deoxys in the handheld games.

Effect

Psycho Boost inflicts damage, and lowers the user's Special Attack stat by two stages.

Description

Games Description
RSEColo.XD Allows a full-power attack, but sharply lowers Sp. Atk.
FRLG An intense attack that also sharply reduces the user’s Sp. Atk stat.
DPPtHGSS The user attacks the foe at full power. The attack’s recoil sharply reduces the user’s Sp. Atk stat.
BWB2W2 The user attacks the target at full power. The attack's recoil harshly reduces the user's Sp. Atk stat.
XY The user attacks the target at full power. The attack's recoil harshly lowers the user's Sp. Atk stat.
