Gary's Arcanine (Japanese: シゲルのウインディ Shigeru's Windie) is one of Gary's strongest Pokémon. It is voiced by 三木眞一郎 Shin'ichirō Miki in both English and Japanese.
Its first appearance was in the Viridian City Gym, in the episode The Battle of the Badge where it lost to Giovanni and Mewtwo. It also appeared in Extreme Pokémon!, in that episode Ash challenges Gary and Arcanine to a race.
It lost against Ash's Snorlax in Can't Beat the Heat!, in the longest battle shown so far.
