Trivia
- Poké TV: "Pokémon Unbelievable" focusing on Squishy.
- In the Japanese version, the title card segment focuses on Team Rocket and is read by Alain.
- This episode marks Matori's first appearance since A Battle of Aerial Mobility!, 103 episodes prior. It is also her first speaking appearance in the XY series, and the first one overall since Battling For The Love of Bug-Types!, 225 episodes ago.
- Team Rocket's Team Song is used as the Japanese ending theme for this episode.
- It is also used as an insert song during Team Rocket's battle with Team Flare.
- Bonnie can be heard singing Puni-chan's Song to Squishy in this episode.
- Clemont, Bonnie, and Hiro narrate the preview for the next episode.
- At the end of the preview, Clemont says "Everyone, Clemontic Gear, ON!" instead of Ash saying his "Everyone, get Pokémon!" phrase.
Errors
- During Team Rocket and Team Flare's battle, Weavile is hit by Inkay's Psybeam. As a Dark-type, Weavile should not have taken any damage.
- After Zygarde 50% uses Dragon Pulse for the first time on Team Rocket and Team Flare, Gourgeist and Inkay are seen with Jessie and James, even though they were both returned to their Poké Balls in the previous scene.
