Wide Slash (Japanese: すいへいぎり Horizontal Cut) is a damage-dealing typeless move introduced in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team.

Effect

Generation III

Wide Slash will attack foes on the three tiles diagonally to and in front of the player. It is affected by the Taunted status, and its power can be raised through Ginseng. It has a base 12% critical hit rate.

Generation IV

Wide Slash now has a base 8% critical hit rate.
