Why do you guys keep filling this thing up so fast? TTEchidna 00:20, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
Protect
I think you should protect Pluto, Handsome, and the Ruined World's supposed English names as well, in case someone makes a duplicate page.--The Kkllnnator カメックス 21:44, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
So... much... wikicode...
I went to "view source" as recommended, but when I started tweaking it on my page, I was utterly overwhelmed by all of that code. You must be a master of code or something, because I couldn't understand much of that wikicode. Do you at least know anyone with a... simpler calendar? --SharKing ((Talk to the King!)) 12:42, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
- P.S.: Your Pokémon of the Day is Bulbasaur. Therefore, I declare today, December 10, Bulbapedia Day!
- December 10th is Bulbagarden's anniversary. And a simple calendar is just the time parser function: May 4, 2024. Check more of them out over at the meta-wiki. TTEchidna 20:08, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
User Maverick template
I don't think that's very nice to make it say "insane" if used on a page with the name "Guardian". I'd like you to remove it. UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 20:59, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
- It says "insane"? Where?--The Kkllnnator サンタクロース 21:00, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
- Look at the source code, line 3:
This user is {{#ifeq: {{BASEPAGENAME}}|Guardian|[[wp:insane|{{color|{{{5|0000FF}}}|clinically insane}}]]|a [[wp:Maverick|{{color|{{{5|0000FF}}}|maverick}}]]}}.

- Yeah, the fun with wikicode. Just screwing with him, seeing how long it takes to notice. TTEchidna 21:03, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
- I like the more advanced wikicode too :P The only thing that was bugging me here was that Guardian is maybe not the best choice to be picked into a thing like this :D UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 21:14, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

- 'Kay :D And sorry for that other template edit, I haven't ever come across that meme before (seriously!). I think I am went doing my homework now. Also, Guardian has again removed the "not" from that award template-look-a-like on his user page... UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 21:39, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

Ahem
So...I see other users are following my footsteps in creating secret pages...so exactly WHY can't I (the creator of secret pages) have one myself? And then you guys made a rule that we can't have Friend Pages...well, let me tell you: I named it as a Friend page as a title for the content on my page...it's not an ACTUAL friend page if you guys actually taken a look...it's nothing different than that of Dragonbeastx and Smartkedhens...it's not fair.--☆Tavisource 05:16, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
- if you bothered to look, i deleted his secret page. -- MAGNEDETH 05:21, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
- so exactly WHY can't we do this? It doesn't hurt anyone....hmm...according to the text in my welcoming template, it's allowed...what's the diff between this and other pages other users have like fake pokemon pages, dub title prediction pages...what's the diff?--☆Tavisource 05:30, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
- It's the fact that EVERYONE IS EDITING IT. Unlike regular userpages, these pages permit ANYONE to edit it. In one day, let's say TTE makes one. One day. Somewhere near 47 hits. Compare that to a regular page, which would only be 3 a day as only one user is editing it. Θρtιmαtum♏Talk|Links 06:09, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

eps articles
Should we delete all those hidden characters that didn't appear after the ep had aired? Are they really necessary?-Billy4b2004 05:28, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
- As long as the episode aired already in BOTH Japan and U.S. (to be safe of dub changes), I guess it's fine...yes, I know, you weren't talking to me.--☆Tavisource 05:30, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
Sorry to bother you…
… but is there a specific project on the need to be done right now? If so, please let me know if you need my assistance, thanks. Bulbapedian - Talk 21:11, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
Request
Can you delete all 3 of my userboxes in my namespace? I don't want 'em anymore. But first, make sure to use Template:Code on any pages using them. ♥Chocolate (Merry Christmas!) 22:10 12/11/2008
- You subst, I delete. TTEchidna 22:14, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
- Too late, I did it all. (only one was actually in use, and on two pages.) -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 22:16, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
A question about fe/male-only Pokémon pages
I have a question about fe/male-only Pokémon pages. Should we replace the uses of "it" to "he" or "she", and the uses of "its" to "his" or "her", depending on which gender they can only be? After all, if they can only be one gender, the article should reflect that in all text that mentions the Pokémon. ♥Chocolate (Merry Christmas!) 22:57 12/11/2008
Request
Could you remove this revision from my userpage history? It's bad for my non-existent reputation.--The Kkllnnator サンタクロース 21:24, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
Trivia
In your opinion...what would you classify as trivia? to me, trivia is something that is interesting and/or something you might not have known/might not have thought about before. In Lugia's, Ho-Oh's, and Celebi's trivia sections, there's something mentioning that there has been only 2 other Pokemon of that same type as the legendary Pokemon and there hasn't been any since. Wouldn't you consider that trivia? Another user doesn't and keeps deleting it from those pages. I just wanted to know what your opinion was on that so it can be settled. thanks. --いぬみみ 04:33, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
Trainer template
Hey TTEchidna, are you the one who created the Trainer template, the template that creates a table list of trainers and their Pokémon info? Or was that Kogoro? -–<×vVvvv τλικ to ς1tHςι4γ3r ^^vVv×>–- 07:09, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
- Which one? The one on Brock's page? TTEchidna 07:23, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
- It really doesn't matter, since most templates relating to trainers were created by TTE. Θρtιmαtum♏Talk|Links 11:20, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
- I see. Well the one in question is the one used on Route 204, and the one in Kogoro's sandbox. And the one I wrote a tut on using, here. I don't actually know who created it, and who's currently managing it, but I'd like to help with it. Such as perhaps adding a type and exp column. -–<×vVvvv τλικ to ς1tHςι4γ3r ^^vVv×>–- 15:52, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
- I like that tutorial. Yeah, I made that template (like everything else). Adding the exp. and types might prove difficult, but I'm open to it if you can sandbox it together. TTEchidna 00:30, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks. Sweet. -–<×vVvvv τλικ to ς1tHςι4γ3r ^^vVv×>–- 07:38, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

Askin'
I asked a question on one of your subpages, it seems that people notice them worse than when they are put on their direct talk pages. The question is at User talk:TTEchidna/Sprites. Also, there is an open question both here and here, so it'd be nice if somebody answered them as well. UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 20:15, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, we don't get new messages for comments on our other subtalks. TTEchidna 00:13, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
Hmm... slight problem
Rightio, I managed to recode the Trainerentry template (haven't saved it yet though) so it only uses Trainerentry/1 repeatedly with nested switches, however, I've found that I don't think it's possible to make a new row in a switch outcome as there's a |
confliction. I've tried perhaps using <tr>
instead, or containing it in quotations, but to no avail; anything after the =
just appears as text. I'm probably making it sound confusing, here's the situation:
...{{#switch: {{{5|6}}}|1|2|3|4|5|6|= |- {{Trainerentry/1...
Basically trying to put a new row in the outcome, but of course, the |
is conflicting, and treating it as it would in the switch, thus nothing is outputted.
The only way that I can think of to solve this is by making a template simply containing |-
in it and using it there; Template:tr perhaps... though it's pretty much borderline pointless, and only necessary here. Any ideas? -–<×vVvvv τλικ to ς1tHςι4γ3r ^^vVv×>–- 08:06, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
- Wait what? TTEchidna 08:12, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
- There's a {{!}}template, which inserts a pipe without breaking the template. Perhaps that's what you're looking for. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 09:15, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
- Bingo. Thanks Jioruji, I think that'll work. Ha, I always wondered what that template was for. Sorry TTE, I probably still didn't make it clear enough xD. -–<×vVvvv τλικ to ς1tHςι4γ3r ^^vVv×>–- 10:07, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

And... success.
Done. You can delete the other Trainerentry/# templates, just keep Trainerentry/1, cos that's the only one that's needed. Time to start on the exp ^_^ -–<×vVvvv τλικ to ς1tHςι4γ3r ^^vVv×>–- 11:32, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
