Stat-enhancing items are held items that affect a particular stat of a Pokémon, usually only usable by one or two related Pokémon.

Stat enhanced: Special Defense of Clamperl
Found:
- Held by Clamperl, given by Capt. Stern after Scanner event (R/S/E).
- Held by Chinchou, Lanturn, and Relicanth (D/P)

Stat enhanced: Special Attack of Clamperl
Found:
- Held by Clamperl, given by Capt. Stern after Scanner event (R/S/E)
- Held by Carvanha and Sharpedo (D/P)

Stat enhanced: Doubles the Special Attack of Pikachu. Starting in Generation IV, it also doubles the Attack of Pikachu.
Found:
- Starting Pikachu from Pokémon Yellow traded into Generation II
- Found on some wild Pikachu (R/S/E),
- Held by a special Pikachu awarded as a prize for defeating the Pokémon Battle Revolution main game.
- Found on some wild Pikachu (D/P),
Note:: Can be used in breeding to cause a Pichu to hatch with Volt Tackle in E or any game after Generation III.

Stat enhanced: Critical hit ratio of Farfetch'd
Found:
- Found on some wild Farfetch'd (G/S/C)
- Vermilion City (FR/LG)
- Found on some wild Farfetch'd (D/P)
