The Sinnoh Grand Festival is an anime-exclusive event during the Diamond & Pearl series. Pokémon Coordinators who wish to enter it need five ribbons won from the Sinnoh region Contests in order to do so. The winner of the Grand Festival would earn the Ribbon Cup.
In A Stand-Up Sit-Down!, Zoey mentioned that the Sinnoh Grand Festival will have a double performance round. In DP163, Marian announced that it would be held at Lake Valor, the site of the most recent Wallace Cup.
Competition
The Grand Festival started in DP174 and ended in DP177. Like all Sinnoh Pokémon Contests, Marian is the announcer. Instead of the usual three judges, the Grand Festival has six judges in attendance.
