Shaymin is a major character from Giratina and the Sky's Bouquet: Shaymin. It is voiced by 山崎バニラ Vanilla Yamazaki in Japanese.

In the movie, Shaymin is the Gratitude Pokémon. Shaymin can communicate with telepathy. It has a slight problem of arrogance and it is always talking about the gratitude that the people should have towards it. Its deadly experience from being caught in the middle of Giratina and Dialga's fight caused Shaymin to grow a habit of running from everything and screaming "I'm going to be eaten!" even to people or Pokémon who have no intention of doing so. Shaymin seems to complain a lot, saying things like "You could have washed me a little more gently!" They soon realize that they are dealing with a real smart-mouth. Shaymin always talks about wanting to go to "that place" which really irritates Ash because he doesn't know what Shaymin's talking about. At first, Shaymin seems to like Dawn more. It also likes to be held by Dawn and other people that it feels comfortable with, like Leila. When Dawn's not holding Shaymin it usually rides on Ash's head. Sometimes, it'll hop out of Dawn's arms and onto Ash's head, jerking him around saying things like "It's this way! No, this way!" to him. Shaymin sometimes blows black smoke in Ash's face or insults him, usually calling him stupid when he cannot answer a question, or doesn't understand something. At first Ash seemed to not like Shaymin that much either-- On a train that the group boards, the passengers fawn over Shaymin, saying that it's cute and sweet. Ash angrily says that it's nasty and explodes at random. Shaymin shoots back that it doesn't do that to nice people. Shaymin battles against Giratina and later against Zero, with Ash and Giratina, and they end up defeating him. At the end of the movie, they finally reach the flower garden of Glacidea. The little Pokémon admits that it never hated Ash at all-- it really considers him a nice friend. Shaymin, who up until now has been boasting "Be grateful to me," finally tells the group "You've been grateful to me." All the other Shaymin in the garden change into their Sky Formes at will and fly around happily. Shaymin watches them, and with tears rolling down its face, it says "Thank you everyone..." to the three. It scurries off into the garden and changes into its Sky Forme to go and fly with its friends. Then the group of Shaymin all fly away together.
