Origin Pulse (Japanese: こんげんのはどう Origin Pulse) is a damage-dealing Water-type move introduced in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. It is the signature move of Kyogre.

Effect

Origin Pulse deals damage. It hits both opponents in a Double Battle and opposing adjacent Pokémon in Triple Battles. Its power is boosted by 50% when used by a Pokémon with the Ability Mega Launcher, and does not affect Pokémon with the Ability Bulletproof.

Origin Pulse does not exist in the coding of Pokémon X and Y. As a result, a Pokémon knowing Origin Pulse cannot be traded from Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire to X and Y, and if a Pokémon in Pokémon Bank knows the move it cannot be withdrawn in Pokémon X and Y. In order to be transferred to Pokémon X and Y, the Pokémon must forget Origin Pulse.
