Marcus's soldiers

Marcus's soldiers are a group of minor characters who appeared in Arceus and the Jewel of Life. Only three have speaking roles. They are voiced by Ryūmi Akiyama, Hiroyuki Baba and Hiroshi Yamamoto.

The soldiers first appear when Ash, his friends, and Sheena are sent back in time by Dialga. As they are the guards of the Michina temple, they quickly capture the group under the orders of their leader, Marcus. Marcus goes on to have his Bronzong use Hypnosis on all but Sheena, then ordering the soldiers to take the others away.

Another soldier is seen later, preparing food with the forced aid of a Chikorita and a Cyndaquil. He is interfered with by Pikachu, Piplup, the Spiky-eared Pichu, and a Totodile.

Another soldier is Tapp, who guards Marcus's prison cell.

In the present day, the soldiers' old equipment is found in the ruins by Team Rocket.
