Design Cherry

Cheri Berry is a type of Berry. It was introduced in Generation III, and is the first Berry numerically in both Hoenn and Sinnoh.

Locations

Generation III

Generation IV

Growth and harvest

Cheri Berries grow from planted seed to fruit-bearing plant in 12 hours. They will yield 2-5 Berries.

Uses

In-battle

A Cheri Berry, if held by a Pokémon, can cure it of paralysis instantly, or can be used as an item to cure paralysis.

Berry Blending

This is one of the Berries that NPCs use in the Berry Blender. Since Cheri Berries are the only spicy Berry they use, low level red Pokéblocks will be made when the player uses these Berries to blend with them. Cheri Berries can, however, make higher level Pokéblocks when blending with other players with a link cable.

Berry Crushing

At 100% performance, this Berry will contribute 30 units of powder.

Poffin cooking

At 100% performance a Cheri Berry will produce a level 13 spicy Poffin when cooking alone.
