Ash's Riolu (Japanese: サトシのリオル Satoshi's Riolu) was the third Pokémon that Ash caught in the new series, and his fifty-fifth overall.

History

After Ash saved Riolu from a wild Onix and he took it to be healed by Nurse Joy, Nurse Joy suggested that he should catch it, which he did.
