Glameow (Japanese: ニャルマー Nyarmar) is a Template:Type2 Pokémon.

It evolves into Purugly starting at level 38.

Biology

Physiology

Glameow is a gray cat, with a curled, spring-shaped tail similar to Spoink and a white fluff at the tip of it. It has a crescent shaped head with two white-tipped ears. It also has a small black nose, yellow eyes with blue irises like a Froslass, and white paws.

Glameow tend to appear in urban environments, probably because they have a domesticated quality.

Origin

Glameow is based off of a regular domesticated cat.

Name origin

Glameow's name is possibly from glamorous and meow. Its Japanese name, Nyarmar, comes from the word にゃあ nyā, the Japanese equivalent of meow, and glamor.
