Hank

Hank (Japanese: ヒヨシ Hiyoshi) is an one-time character, who appeared in Aipom and Circumstance. He is voiced by 古島清孝 Kiyotaka Furushima in Japanese and Rich McNanna in English.

Hank along with many other villagers were competing in a contest to see who the next king would be. However had the crown in their hands by sunset would be the winner. But because of interference by Ash's Aipom Hank decided to provide his help to Ash in order to find Aipom and the crown that she had stolen.

Hank often has great ideas such as using his Nosepass to navigate through the mountains. But he does have a problem with speaking his mind at times. Later when they find Aipom with the crown now stuck on her head, Hank comes up with another idea of feeding Aipom a sour Belue Berry in order to get the crown off. By sunset, he was the one with the crown in his hand and was named King for a Year. Ash said that he should have no problem being king because he always came up with great plans.
