Leader: Pryce
"The Teacher of Winter's Harshness"
Pryce's Mahogany Gym cannot be challenged the first time the player arrives in Mahogany Town. A man is blocking entry to the Gym: he will only leave once Team Rocket has been defeated at their headquarters and the Gyarados at the nearby Lake of Rage have been calmed.
In the Generation II, in order to get to the Leader, one must correctly navigate an ice maze. While in Generation IV games, the maze has been completely changed with several rooms. After Gym Leader Pryce is defeated, he will give the player the Glacier Badge and an Ice-type Technical Machine. This varies from generation to generation: TM16 (Icy Wind) will be given in Generation II, and TM07 (Hail) is given in Generation IV.

In the anime
The Mahogany Gym has appeared in one episode of the anime.
Ash battled Pryce for the Glacier Badge in Nice Pryce, Baby!. Using his Pikachu and Cyndaquil, Ash was determined to bring down Pryce and earn his seventh Badge. After successfully defeating Pryce's Dewgong, Ash then had to face off against his Piloswine. It wasn't easy, mostly due to Piloswine's ability to use Rest. Just when things looked bad for Ash, Pryce conceded, saying that he didn't want his Piloswine, who he had only reunited with the previous day, to be injured. Although Ash won by default, he was still happy to get his Badge.
Pryce's battlefield is entirely made of ice, except for a small pool of water in the center of it. He used this to his advantage when battling with his Dewgong. Outside, all of Pryce's other Pokémon rest when he's not using them in battle. In fact, when Team Rocket tried to steal them, they all attacked using various Ice moves.
The Gym assistant at Mahogany is Sheila.
