Water Spout (Japanese: しおふき Whale Spout) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation III. It is a variation of Eruption and can be considered the inverse of Reversal and Flail.

Effect

Water Spout does damage, and hits both Pokémon in double battles. This move's power reduces as the user's HP reduces. The power is calculated by the formula:

File:Eruption.png

Hence, the maximum power, at 100% HP, will be 150.
