Introduction
I've been a fan since Gen I, but near the end of Gen II, I lost intrest. After seeing Beautifly, I figured Nintendo had run out of original ideas, so I skipped Ruby and Sapphire, but the remakes of Gen I brought me back. Thanks to FireRed and LeafGreen, I also invested a little time checking out Gen III Pokemon, and came to the realization, that some of them were actually pretty original. As for Gen IV, well, I wasnt going to jump in, but after a friend of mine did first, I decided, why not? That and Magnezone...I couldn't resist Magnezone...
Interesting Stuff
Pokémon that deserve another evolution. I'm open to suggestions! |

I think the Generation I Sprites look terrible, what do you think? |
---|
If Nintendo did a Pokémon do over. What do you think they should have done differently? |
---|
Thanks to Gen IV, some older Pokémon are now very Useful! But which ones? |

theres been some discussion about these things...id like to say that i havnt experienced anything weird or wrong with mine (unless i did it myself). id also like to say that i havnt simply filled my game with all the pokemon just to fill my pokedex, i only modify whats available to me. if in the future i get a wi-fi thingy, and somone wants to battle, i will NOT use any hacked pokemon (unless you really want too). also, if somone wants to trade, i only trade non-hacked stuff (unless somone wants somthing rediculous like a Celebi or Arceus).
Event Magnemite
I'm pretty sure an event Magnemite that knows Levitate would be way more awesome than a stupid Manaphy or Mew. So, if you want one, I may just start taking orders...
Magnemite Talk |
Not that it isn't painfully obvious, but I have an unhealthy obsession with Magnemite...though thankfully not as unhealthy as some people when it comes to other Pokemon like Pikachu or Gardevoir...but first, the eternal question, why do I like Magnemite so much?? well, back when I played my Blue version, I got my Pikachu in Viridian Forest and trained it and evolved it and went on my way. Well, when I went to the Power Plant, I heard the sound...yes, the sound of Magnemite! The sound itself made me want one, it was just too funny! not only that but it just looks so rediculous! How could you not like him?? I got one, trained it to Lv.100 (as a Magnemite, I didnt evolve it) and the rest is history..
as the sole member of the Magnemite Fan Club, ive come up with tons of questions about the little guy and his counterparts. There hasnt been any explanation as to why the Magneton of Snap, the stadium games, R/B, and G/S/C arent actually linked. The stadium games and Snap show this the most. They look more like 3 magnemite friends. Theres also the case of Magneton having different sized magnets. The various cards show that the most. Also, Ethan's Magneton. I can ignore the stupid looking bent magnets, but they are really tiny.
This picture was made by Tina☆♫. HOWEVER. That doesn't mean you can go bug her to make YOU one... ....I don't think i need to worry about people bothering me..... |
Teams
WORK IN PROGRESS!!
My teams follow a simple pattern.
Certain Pokémon get placed in the same position. However, Flygon on my Sapphire team is a good example of how this isn't always the case. I don't know why or how I started doing things this way, but, it's nice to be organized. It should be noted though that this doesn't mean I'm going to send the same Pokémon out first every time if you battle me online.

BlueBack in the day when legendaries we're the only way to go and if you didn't have a Mewtwo, you were a nobody. Articuno was mostly for Flying, but, also good for beating Lance. Megamite is a Level 100 Magnemite, and the rest are what you'd expect.
Level 255Thanks to the Missingno. glitch, You can get one hell of a team by trading with friends.

SilverWith the introduction of a new generation, we got the opportunity to play with 100 new species of Pokémon. Buuut, I was a naive young boy who still insisted on using legendaries...however, I did move up to a Magneton. Ho-oh had Fly and T-tar was pretty crappy. But he was cool looking.
GoldTHIS GAME HAS BEEN LOST. |

SapphireThis is actually the second team, as this game was restarted. The first time around was pretty bad, but I made sure I knew the score this time around. I planned the team ahead of time, and then left a spot open for a hacked Crawdaunt knowing 4 HMs.
LeafGreenLike above, this is the second team. This was my first Pokémon game since Silver, three years prior. I knew nothing about natures and EVs, so, it was a mess. Second time around, I hacked a Scyther with Fly and a Kingler with any other HM I needed. It didn't dawn on me until after I trained Scyther that there was actually a good Flying-type in Gen I. Dodrio. Oh Well. The others are legit.
EmeraldA friend of mine has been shipped off to Iraq. Godspeed to him. He gave his Emerald. Team to come. XDGame is slated for restart.

DiamondStoryThis is my team for use in the story. Beating gyms, etc. I have rarely used it in battles against anyone. Magnemite and Porygon had to be traded over because they aren't in the Sinnoh Dex. Magnezone and Garchomp are used in other teams and Porygon-Z does see occasional online use.
Titanium GymBattle this team HERE.
GSDSit's inevitable...unfortunately, im having lots of trouble nailing down a good team...if you dont think you can make a good team, checking out my thoughts here will probably give you a boost. i put lots of thought into my teams, however, i always pick favorites, as in, i rarely use a Pokemon i dont like. Pokemon in BOLD are definitely IN. Pokemon in Italics have a good chance.
-Personal Bickering- if Herracross is not in, then Pinsir must be in, but that means i wont have a Dark-type. although, i dont NEED a Bug-type, and a Dark-type would be more useful. if i put in Weavile, i wont need Mamoswine, but i WILL need Gliscor. however, if i put in Togekiss, it would even out my physical/special ratio. but i could do that by swapping Kingler and Starmie. but Starmie has 3 more weaknesses than Kingler, though Kingler has very bad Sp. Def, and even a strong Crabhammer would be resisted by a defensive Rock-type, then theres the matter that Kingler cant effectively use Surf! after much deliberation, i had to cut Kingler due to Surf. because of that, it created a domino effect. with Starmie in, it evens out the special/physical balance which means Togekiss has less of a chance. but its not a guarantee. im a sucker for raw power, and Mamoswine has tons of it. the only problem is that id still like a good Dark-type, and Weavile seems to be the only one...i cant use Houndoom because of Typhlosion, Honchkrow is too weak, Umbreon is defense based, and Tyranitar has a crap-ton of weaknesses and he's very slow. never thought id consider Crobat or Dodrio. turns out their stats are actually very usable. unfortunately, they only fit into the Mamoswine equation as a replacement for Gliscor. that being said, im trying as hard as i can to get Mamoswine in there, but this lack of good Dark-type is very annoying. i may not use a Dark-type after all. uh oh. i just realized that most of these guys wont evolve until i get the National Dex, or, after the Elite 4. some of them are pretty bad in their old forms, this could spell disaster.. ive decided to ignore the previous statement and look at it in another light. first off, id really like to stick with Johto only Pokemon. second, Heracross is faster than Machamp and learns Megahorn. third, Weavile's speed makes him an excellent Dragon killer. lastly is Gliscor who takes over for Mamoswine. i like Mamoswine's better-than-it-should-be speed, but i dont like its lack of resistances, and lack of useful Physical Ice-type attacks. on top of that, Sneasel and Gligar are entirely usable. im not saying Piloswine isnt, but, it goes right back to lack of moves. this is not final, and anything could change though. well, its been months since ive been able to edit this page, and yet, i still have no idea what my GSDS team will be. after month of deliberating, i have decided that Herracross will be in. No Guard is too risky and Hitmonchan has a poor single player move pool (that being said, ill add it to a multiplayer team!). in this time, i also decided that T-tar is going to be possible after all, but, it's still anyone's guess. meanwhile, Togekiss is back on the board as well. i think im making this harder for myself. truth be told, Gliscor will most likely be in due to its useful dual-type on the team. and Weavile makes a good case too. massive attack stat combined with super speed. that will be really helpful against Lance. i also started re-thinking Starmie, but, for now, its in. oh crap, Kingdra. i completely forgot. i like the idea of him over Starmie because hes from Gen II. meanwhile, ive been rethinking Weavile. the only thing keeping him in there is his awesomeness against the likes of Claire and Lance. but, i cant easily pair Ice-type with anything. its further complicated if i need to keep a Sneasel around until i get a National Dex. also, Crobat and Dodrio have been officially cut. Crobat was a thought, but, Poison-types just arent useful enough to constitute a place on my team. (Nidoking the exception because hes part Ground-type). given the teams current special/physical split, it sort of ensures Gliscor will be in. however, it comes back to the Johto Dex/Nation Dex fiasco. given the lack of announcement, i thankfully still have time. keep watching this spot for new info!
