An Apicot Berry (Japanese: ズアのみ Zua Fruit) is a type of Berry introduced in Generation III.

Effect
Held item
An Apicot Berry raises the holder's Special Defense by one stage when the holder's HP drop to ¼ or below. If the holder has Gluttony, then it eats its Apicot Berry when its HP drops to ½ or below. If the holder has Ripen, then its Special Defense rises by two stages.
When forcibly consumed via Fling, Pluck, Bug Bite, or Item Urge, it raises the Special Defense of the consumer by one stage.

An Apicot plant will yield 1-5 Berries. A growing Apicot plant's soil dries by 4% every hour, fully drying out in 25 hours.

An Apicot plant will yield 1-10 Berries. During its growth, watering the plant adds 0.2 Berries to the final harvest, weeding it adds 0.1, and removing a pest adds 1. Apicot plants attract Volbeat as pests.
