Gary's Umbreon (Japanese: シゲルのブラッキー Shigeru's Blacky) was a Pokémon obtained by Gary while Ash was in the Orange Islands. Its voice actor in both Japanese and English is unknown.

Gary obtained Umbreon as an Eevee. It is unknown under what circumstances Gary obtained it. Gary trained his Eevee very well, and it had a very shiny coat of fur. It was able to defeat Ash's Pikachu shortly before they both left for Johto.

It evolved in the Johto region sometime prior to the episode Power Play, while it was training at night with Gary. It was also seen with Gary during Putting the Air Back in Aerodactyl.

Gary and Umbreon also helped Ash, Brock and Dawn protect the herd of Shieldon from the notorious Pokémon Hunter J and her evil minions in DP045.
