Nanu's Persian (Japanese: クチナシのペルシアン Kuchinashi's Persian) is a Pokémon owned by Nanu in the anime, manga, and the games.
In the anime
In the main series
Persian first appeared in Guiding an Awake!. It is larger than most Alolan Persian, with Rotom comparing it to a Totem Pokémon. It was the final Pokémon he used against Ash and his Lycanroc in Ash's grand trial battle and used a mixture of ranged and close quarters attacks to counter Lycanroc. However, after having its Z-Move countered, it ended up being defeated by the Wolf Pokémon's Accelerock, winning the battle for Ash.
Persian reappeared in Securing the Future!, where it joined the rest of Alola in showering Necrozma with Z-Power by using its Z-Move so it could return to its true form.
In SM140, Persian was used to battle a Guzzlord to prevent it from the destroying the Manalo Stadium. With a combination of Z-Moves, Persian, among the other Kahuna's Pokémon, managed to send the Guzzlord back into its Ultra Wormhole.
In SM146, Persian was seen battling against Hau and his Decidueye.

Description: Alolan Persian's Trainer strikes a series of poses to build up Z-Power. Alolan Persian then raises its head and a spiraling sphere of purple, red, and black energy forms above its head. Alolan Persian then throws the sphere at the opponent, and it expands into a miniature black hole. The opponent is sucked into the black hole, which shrinks to a much smaller size, causing it to explode.

Nanu had Persian counter with Nasty Plot, raising its Special Attack and then striking with Dark Pulse. The two Trainers then decided to go all-out; Olivia commanded Lycanroc to use Continental Crush while Nanu ordered a Black Hole Eclipse. Just then, Hala jumped in the way of the two Pokémon and stopped the battle before they could destroy the stage.
