Moon (Japanese: ムーン Moon) is the female player character in Pokémon Sun and Moon. Her male counterpart is Sun.
In the games
Moon is a girl who recently moved from the Kanto region to Melemele Island in the Alola region. After moving in, she quickly befriends Hau. Early in her adventure, Moon meets the guardian deity of Melemele Island, Tapu Koko.
