Snowpoint City

There isn't much to do in town for now, except for trading a Medicham for a Haunter that holds an Everstone.

Grand Underground

Snowpoint City unlocks a new area of the Grand Underground, giving access to the Whiteout Cave and Glacial Cavern, two ice-themed Pokémon Hideaways. After beating the Snowpoint Gym in the next part and earning the Icicle Badge, several Ice-type Pokémon including Sneasel and Snover will become available in these caves.

Whiteout Cave

Whiteout Cave has a more varied selection of base encounters than most ice-themed biomes, with Machop, Shinx, Pachirisu, and Buneary available from the start. Munchlax becomes available after obtaining TM97 (Defog). After earning the Icicle Badge, Sneasel, Snover, Mr. Mime, and Luxio all unlock here.

Glacial Cavern

Glacial Cavern is the large cavern variant of Icy Cave, featuring the same sparse initial encounters. Only Buneary appears from the start, with Bronzor joining after TM96 (Strength). Like Icy Cave, it opens up considerably after the Icicle Badge with Sneasel, Snover, and Mr. Mime.
