By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Your edits

Hello, I noticed that your edits are still unsatisfactory even though you've been here for a half year. Specifically, some of your phrases make no sense, you don't use link templates and you don't spell Pokémon with an é.--Den Zen 21:06, 25 February 2013 (UTC)

I'm reminding you of the same thing again, since your synopsis for BW105 is almost unreadable. If you really want to write episode synopses, please improve your grammar; the Manual of style requires that.--Den Zen 12:05, 24 March 2013 (UTC)
Seriously, please don't touch the synopses until your English is much better. As I pointed out above, it is required according to the Manual of style. Next time you add sentences with awkward grammar and blatantly misspelled words to a decent synopsis, you will be blocked for insubordination.--Den Zen 16:45, 14 April 2013 (UTC)

Block

Since you ignored the warnings and kept using very bad grammar, you've been blocked for a week. Please use that time for reading this talk page, the Manual of style, and some other policies.--Den Zen 10:50, 21 April 2013 (UTC)

Edits

Even though you have been given the links and time to read the the Manual of style, you have still not adapted to the proper rules for writing and linking, as seen here. If you link to an episode you should always do it like this: ''[[BW109|New Places... Familiar Faces!]]'', instead of [[New Places... Familiar Faces!]] (the way you did it). So as you can see, you need to put the epicode in front of the title (BW...) and you also need to use these: ''. Use them in front and after the link, so that it will come out italic.

Also, make sure that everything you wrote is correctly written. Making mistakes is not a problem, everyone does that, but writing Asperita Gym instead of Aspertia Gym and just leave it like that without correcting it is not okay. Finally, on a minor note: a great deal of the anime articles here (especially those about characters) are written in past tense. So instead of: explains, write: explained. If you still have trouble understanding what to do for future edits, I request you read the Manual of style once more. BlazingFist ☼ 12:02, 28 April 2013 (UTC)

Please, do read the Manual of style. Take some time to read it, as it's very important. I saw you made the summary you made for New Places... Familiar Faces! visible again, even though an admin had hidden it on purpose. Your summary is unsatisfactory, meaning it is not of the proper quality suited for Bulbapedia yet. Someone will eventually take a look at it and make it better, I might even do it when I have some more time. If you want to write good, satisfactory summaries, you should brush up your English and read the Manual of style. I understand English may not be your native language, it isn't mine either. But this IS an English encyclopedia after all, so at least try to improve it a bit. BlazingFist ☼ 13:59, 28 April 2013 (UTC)

Link templates

Looking at your edit of BW112, your grammar seems to have improved, which is a good thing, although the synopsis is far from complete, though. Also, when making summaries, make sure you use link templates, like using {{Ash}} to link to Ash's page. You can find a full list of link templates here. BlazingFist ☼ 13:10, 12 May 2013 (UTC)

Synopsis

Stealing content (including synopses) from other fansites is not allowed. Please do not do so in the future. Additionally, if someone removes an edit you made, you should bring it up on the talk page, or talk to the user who reverted you instead of edit warring. Thank you. --Pokemaster97 13:06, 4 June 2013 (UTC)

Grammar, again

Listen, once more. I noticed you made this edit. Basically all you did with that edit was changing sentences of a synopsis that was fine as it was with a couple of sentences with bad grammar and wrong spelled words. Don't do that again, as it is clear from this edit and your previous edits you have not fully adapted to the English language yet. I completely understand all you want to do is help, however, which is appreciated of course, so I request you should check the manual of style once more (link is up above). BlazingFist ☼ 15:01, 6 June 2013 (UTC)

Still, every single sentence you write contains at least one obvious mistake, which means that you're breaking the Manual of style. So from now on, stop writing synopses or other longer texts and focus on something else, or you'll get blocked for a longer duration than the last time. Don't even add "hidden synopses"; it's much easier to write a new one from the scratch.--Den Zen 14:15, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
And now you will have a month off from Bulbapedia. It's not like you didn't get enough warnings. Why can't you just let other users write synopses and focus on something else?--Den Zen 12:59, 28 July 2013 (UTC)
Upon executive discussion, it's been decided that one month was a bit excessive for the nature of the offense. Your block has been reduced, and will expire on August 4th. However, continued failure to listen to direction from staff will result in increased block times. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 08:01, 29 July 2013 (UTC)

Block again

This is the block that our Deputy Editor-in-Chief warned you about. Stuff like "but Meowth realize the memory he help them" and "Iris then orders Dragonite to uses Ice Cream" shows that you haven't improved at all; you don't even bother making any links. The "full enough plot" you mentioned in your edit summary is not enough.--Den Zen 11:37, 16 August 2013 (UTC)

Breaking Manual of Style again

Hi PokeSerbia, as again and again warned by our staff members about, editing the synopses and long texts you are not learning at all even if you write 4 words you definitely do a mistake, so please start editing something else there are more then 23,000 articles on Bulbapedia you can start by having a look on the RC. Thanks!--Viv (talk) 16:58, 5 September 2013 (UTC)

Articles

Please, when writing articles, you must make sure that they have a certain amount of information on them. One sentence that doesn't give any actual information about the character you're writing about does not meet the requirements. Ataro (talk) 13:56, 6 September 2013 (UTC)

Reply to your explanation

I'm going to reply here to what you said on my talk page to make sure you'll see it.

First off, I completely understand you might have trouble with English. A great deal of the Bulbagarden Community users does not have English as their native language, me included. However, do keep in mind that this is an encyclopedia, which, unlike a forums where a basic level of English is sufficient, requires a high level of English as it needs to be perfectly readable for Pokémon fans all over the world who want to obtain all sorts of information. That is why I and some staff members have suggested you'd read the Manual of Style, which contains guidelines on how to edit correctly. And I also suggested you'd try to improve your English in some way and until your English was good enough to refrain from making edits with a lot of text, like summaries. This was suggested because mainly the summaries for episodes you wrote were nearly unreadable. You kept re-editing your edits that were undone by others however, and this is why you have been warned and asked to improve yourself when it comes to English.

And this is what I am going to suggest again, if you think your English is not good enough yet, try to improve yourself and try to stay away from text heavy edits. More importantly, if someone reverts your edit with a particular reason and you disagree, ask that person on their talk page instead of editing the same thing again, making the same mistakes. I do hope I'm not demotivating you from editing, it is obvious everyone is welcome to edit here regardless of nationality, and that's a beautiful thing, but you do need to understand what I've told you up above. If you have any questions or need any advice, feel free to ask me, or even better: staff members. They're here to ensure everyone is editing well and do not bite.

Keep up your editing spirit and listen to advice other editors and more importantly staff members give you. Happy editing! ☼ BlazingFist ☼ 19:20, 19 November 2013 (UTC)
