Welcome to Bulbapedia, Mr-ex777!
Bulbapedia bulb.png

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Changes button... Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Thanks! --Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 08:35, 28 October 2011 (UTC)

Please remember to use the preview button in order to catch your mistakes before you save them. Thanks. Werdnae (talk) 06:39, 1 November 2011 (UTC)
Thanks. Ill try to do it if possible.--My r6g4rdz, TEH GIGA-UBER-1337-HAX0R 06:53, 1 November 2011 (UTC)
Please try harder. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 06:01, 7 November 2011 (UTC)

Your signature

It is currently linking your username to the mainspace, which is not allowed. Please change the code from [[Mr-ex777]] to {{u|Mr-ex777}}, or to something else that fits within the signature policy. Thank you, - Kogoro - Talk to me - 12:03, 29 October 2011 (UTC)

Your signature is still violating the signature policy, as the signature must reflect your actual username, in part or in whole. "TEH GIGA-UBER-1337-HAX0R" doesn't reflect your username, Mr-ex777. I have to ask you to review the policy regarding signatures, and change your signature to be within its guidelines. If you would like your signature checked after you modify it, you can always contact me on my talk page. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 11:51, 1 November 2011 (UTC)

--My r6g4rdz, TEH GIGA-UBER-1337-HAX0R(Mr-ex777) 12:02, 1 November 2011 (UTC) how about this?--My r6g4rdz, TEH GIGA-UBER-1337-HAX0R(Mr-ex777) 12:02, 1 November 2011 (UTC)

Writing style

Just a heads up, content should not be written with every word starting with a capital (Like This, For Example) as it is incorrect writing style. Please be sure that when you make edits, you use proper writing style as listed in the style primer and manual of style. Thanks, - Kogoro - Talk to me - 05:40, 1 November 2011 (UTC)

Capitalisation in articles

Hi there. Please Do Not Write Every Word In A Sentence Like This. Only the first letter of each sentence and proper nouns need to be capitalised. For more information on this, see the style primer or the manual of style. If you have the time, please go back through your contributions and clean them up as I did here. Thanks. —darklordtrom 05:42, 1 November 2011 (UTC)

Code of Conduct

Your summary here was quite uncalled for. If you had checked the history, you would have noticed that you had the cell set as half Venipede, and half Minccino and Jo The Marten was attempting to fix the cell from saying two things. Please, take some time to read Bulbapedia's Code of Conduct. Thanks, - Kogoro - Talk to me - 07:17, 9 November 2011 (UTC)

Making new pages

Hey, I highly suggest that if you're going to make a page we don't currently have on the site, that you create it with a bountiful amount of information on it. This is unacceptable. You then go back and add the information later, which floods the Recent Changes, an action that is not good either. If you are having difficulty making pages, either wait for me or someone else to get around to it, or use the Preview Button located right next to the Save button. If you choose not to heed these suggestions, you will be prohibited from editing for a period of time which will be decided by an admin. Please put a lot more effort into your edits. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 10:54, 9 November 2011 (UTC)

Do you really hate me? Whats wrong about making new pages? At least i am just improving the site. I will always return and write more information, and this also happened to Frozen Tundra, which it also started with similiar text by User:Metafruit until i came and added more things. --My r6g4rdz, TEH GIGA-UBER-1337-HAX0R(Mr-ex777) 10:59, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
The problem is you're not putting effort into them in the first place. When you first create a page, it should already have all of the information you're intending to add on it. You can't create a tiny page, then go back later and add more to it. It doesn't work like that. Don't be afraid to take your time making a page. Heck, it takes me nearly 2 hours to make a Rumble location page. And don't point fingers at other users to get away with your improper actions. Also, as per Talk page policy, when responding to someone's messages, please keep the conversation on one page. I've moved your response here to replicate that. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 11:09, 9 November 2011 (UTC)

Edit warring

Hey, instead of edit warring with another user, bring up a discussion about the dispute. It is not wise to revert edits without first discussing the issue, especially if the editor you're reverting happens to be a Project Leader and a Junior Admin. As Co-Leader of Project Sidegames, you are supposed to bring any and all issues to my attention, and not get into fights with me. You've done nothing except fight me this entire time, and it's got to end. Now as for the edit, it is irrelevant and pointless to point out the Pokémon that swarm with the Legendary Pokémon as that section is merely about the Legendary Pokémon and how to encounter them. It is not about how to battle them. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ

Talk:Terrakion

I'm not sure what you were trying to say here, so please make sure your comments on talk pages are clear. To me, it sounds like you are suggesting whoever translated it deserves to be knifed—if so, this is a serious offense. However, due to being unclear, I am going to assume good faith and assume that that is not what you meant. Please clarify exactly what you were trying to say, and ensure your talk page comments have a clearer meaning in the future. --SnorlaxMonster 14:09, 24 November 2011 (UTC)

In regards to your e-mail

You will have to wait until your block expires. You were told multiple times to use the preview button, and you still aren't using it properly. In regards to the edits you made to the Special Traits page, we can no longer use information taken & translated from non-English copies of the game. Information for Pokémon Rumble Blast needs to be collected from English copies of the game. Bulbapedia is an English-language Pokémon encyclopedia & we only use information from non-English copies until English copies of a game are officially released or such English information is officially revealed by other means.

Additionally, your attitude towards other users, especially when you're given constructive criticism, has been exceptionally poor. Please keep in mind that Bulbapedia has a code of conduct that must be followed by everyone. Keep all of these things in mind, or you may end up getting blocked again. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 07:39, 13 December 2011 (UTC)

Adding info

Listing the turrets that appear in the fortresses is unnecessary. They're not Pokémon, and they can't even be destroyed. This was a rather big decision you took upon yourself, and I would have preferred you asked myself, or Werdnae about it first as he manages the style, and what gets added to game pages, and the both of us manage sidegame articles. If you'd like to negotiate, I'll listen, but I'm not going to fight you on this. Have a nice evening. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 21:49, 15 December 2011 (UTC)

Well That's Bad.--My r6g4rdz, TEH GIGA-UBER-1337-HAX0R(Mr-ex777) 05:47, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
Indeed it is bad, and I'm sure if you try hard enough, you'll be able to use it. Masatoshitalk 05:55, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
Hi again, you're forgetting to use the preview button again, please use it. Masatoshitalk 12:53, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
You know what? it's a REAL pain to complete a whole walkthrough in ONE go. Just try it. It is really a pain to do, so i have to break it down in case of my ipad or PC crashing or i accidentally clicked X. Can you just spare me?My r6g4rdz, TEH GIGA-UBER-1337-HAX0R(Mr-ex777) 12:58, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
In cases like this, when you're doing a major overhaul, you can always make it in your notepad, and you can keep on testing it every so often until you get the complete article. That's what I do, that way you can show up as a good editor instead of hitting save every five minutes. And I'm sorry, I can't spare you, I'm just letting you know. Masatoshitalk 13:26, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
Even taking your reason into account, you're making too many edits for small corrections and stuff, where you're not adding content, immediately after your large edits. Speaking as someone who has actually written a walkthrough (not here though), Bulbapedia already makes it easy by having the walkthrough itself divided up into many sections. Most sites, you must write the whole thing from start to finish before you can submit it. If you wish do each one in two or three subsections, that's up to you. But you need to use the preview button and make sure that there aren't any errors. This will be your final warning on the preview button matter. Use it, or we will be forced to give you a short block. Werdnae (talk) 07:17, 10 January 2012 (UTC)

Because you have not listened to these warnings, I have put you in a usergroup that will force you to preview your edits before you save. Please try to be more careful about how many times you edit a page in a short span of time. Thanks. --ケンジガール 13:54, 2 February 2012 (UTC)

When i will get back the instant save button?--My r6g4rdz, TEH GIGA-UBER-1337-HAX0R(Mr-ex777) 13:57, 2 February 2012 (UTC)
When you start to be more cautious of how many edits you make to a page in a short period of time. --ケンジガール 14:02, 2 February 2012 (UTC)
My suggestion over KG's talk page still stands, I encourage you to do that in order to not make so many edits, if you even follow that and you are steady at it, you will get taken out of the ForcePreview usergroup, but if you keep doing what you've been doing, I can't guarantee you'll ever get out of that usergroup. Masatoshitalk 12:28, 3 February 2012 (UTC)

Inappropriate

Please do not be inappropriate on your userspace. LMFS 05:52, 20 February 2012 (UTC)

Yes, there is a policy on the userpage. Yours is considered inappropriate. Please alter it so it is more child-friendly. Kids are on this website, you know. Thanks! :--SuperAipom7 (Need me?) 05:58, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
I, and a few other staff members don't see anything particularly vile on this user's page, and nothing that breaks policy. Feel free to specify. Also, please do not take it upon yourselves to issue these types of warnings. If you find something you feel is against policy, report it to a staff member and let them handle it. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 07:49, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
Sorry. I saw a little suggestive language on his page. I should have asked you guys first. I'm sorry. :--SuperAipom7 (Need me?) 16:31, 20 February 2012 (UTC)

Capitalization and correct grammar

Remember not to write every word in a sentence as a capitalized one, trom has already told you before. I'll link you again to the Style primer and the Manual of Style, please check your spelling before submitting; "heppened" is not a correct word. Furthermore, try to avoid terms such as "previous Poképark game" and just properly link to it. Masatoshitalk 03:49, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

You're still making mistakes with spelling and etiquette. I'd also prefer if you would actually play the games as opposed to relying solely on online videos and play-throughs. It might work for some things, but it's still crippling and doesn't give the same amount of info as actually playing the game yourself. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 10:20, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

Preview

Actually use it. Despite being forced to preview before you save, you're still having to edit pages multiple times because of basic mistakes. Take this week to think about why you are forced to load a preview before you actually save the page. Also, when you get back, please do not edit game PokéPark pages for a while. Your edits are heavily suffering from the fact that you haven't played the game, and are making twice as much work for the people that do have it. Werdnae (talk) 06:01, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
