Welcome to Bulbapedia, Lakelimbo!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Thank you! (also sorry I somehow did not see your previous comment back in May, lmao) — Lakelimbo (talk) 13:33, 7 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Rollback my edit?

The rollback tool should only be used to revert edits that are clearly vandalism.

In this instance you used the rollback tool to revert my edit that was not vandalism. Please explain what was wrong with my edit, and be more careful.

Since Generation V most multipliers are based on an integer modifier with a divisor of 4096. For example, a modifier of 1.2 is approximated as a modifier of 4915/4096, which is not exactly equal to, but represents the best approximation of, 1.2. Wrrasba (talk) 14:56, 2 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Apologies, I should have not used the rollback specifically (as it does not provide a summary). Anyway, I reverted on the basis that it seems like this is more of a consequence of games using fixed-point arithmetic instead of floating-points (aka not necessarily intentional with percentage values), so I don't see a need to specify this. But to honor your contribution, I'll just make a slight edit to the information you have added. — Lakelimbo (talk) 15:27, 2 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
