Stadium effect chance changes

Hey, thanks for your research and effort regarding Stadium, it's really nice to see. Anyway, here you said you obtained the information from your local copy, but I was wondering how you'd check the difference between 30% and 33.2% effect chance for Acid and BubbleBeam? Especially given that I recall we were able to use information of a disassembly (see here), so I was wondering if you could help what is off here? Nescientist (talk) 21:45, 10 November 2024 (UTC)

Oh, I just saw the reference you added (and had previously mentioned in our Discord server).

I'm gonna remove these if you don't mind. At the time the Smogon article was created, I contacted Plague von Karma about it, who subsequently filed a submission to correct it. Apparently, that submission failed to remove the "changes" for Acid and Bubblebeam for some reason (based on our conversation, it had at least Aurora Beam removed).

Ah! That explains why things seemed to be missing. Thank you for catching that, I had no idea. It had seemed a bit strange, but then again Gen I Pokémon games are strange, so I just took Smogon at face value. Clairebearflare (talk) 16:50, 13 November 2024 (UTC)
