The manual of style is very important. Make sure to read it. It outlines all official policies of Bulbapedia.
The word Pokémon is spelled with a capital P and an accented é. The P, of course, is accessed easily by holding Shift and pressing the P key, while the é can be accessed using Alt + 130 or Alt + 0233 on a Windows computer, and Option + e, then e again on a Mac. Otherwise, you can click it in the character palette below the editbox.

we dont use the enimated icons on those pages. all those animations in one space can slow down even an above average PC. its better for individual peoples computers, what with some folks out there still using Win 95. -- MAGNEDETH03:45, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I apologize if you've already taken care of this, but as far as I can tell, your signature has images in it, which is in violation of the new signature policy. Review the policy, then edit your sig to match (assuming, of course, that you haven't done so already). --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh))07:22, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

You need to use the link templates, as well as just learn where the things you link to are. For example, it's Pokémon anime, not just anime, and Tail Glow (move), not Tail glow (move). For a crash course on link templates, see the list of link templates. You should also look at your contributions and look at how I changed the additions you made to see what you should be doing differently.

Please do not create articles for Pokémon belonging to characters of the day. They are non-notable and only need to be mentioned on the character of the day's page. --PAK ManTalk13:59, 6 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Aw, man, why? Well, that sucks. I've seen several people with personal images :| Like User:David_aipom. I mean, he has some useful sprites, but the egg ones I think are uneeded, and I have never seen them used. Natalie11:35, 30 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
It is just because the archives is supposed to be used for actual pictures and images that can be used in the mainspace, that is why there is a limit. If you upload them through photobucket, you can have as many as you want. David Aipom uploaded his images through photobucket, so there isn't a problem, you are able to do the same. Thank you, I just learned that a minute ago and was going to reply. Thanks for bringing this to my attention about this personal image policy.Natalie11:44, 30 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
I'll give you some time to switch the images so that you can have everything still. Tell me when you finished moving them over to the image hosting site. MoldyOrange15:46, 30 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sorry about this, but I'm obligated by my duties to remind you of our relatively new signature policy. Your signature must reflect your username, so signing as "Natalie" is inappropriate. If you're having second thoughts about your username, Zhen Lin may be willing to change it. Thank you. --ニョロトノ66617:40, 31 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
A usertag you have been using, {{User Mystery Dungeon 2}}, has been moved to a new location due to a split in the usertag between the two versions. Your tag has been switched to that template's new location, {{User Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time}}. If you only play Explorers of Darkness, you can reflect it by changing the tag to {{User Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Darkness}}. --Shiningpikablu25201:51, 7 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Because, if you think about it, if one has magic scales, all probably do, and Garchomps behavior is not fully known (As behavior has not been seen except in two episodes so far) so I just added it. 05029421:12, 9 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
You're seriously going to make THAT many subpages? I think it's a TAD bit too much. Maybe merging it will be better...or just summarize it ON the page... ht1420:14, 24 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Impressive job on the Custom sprites! Thanks for your dedication and hard work! Although, I suggest giving yourself credit for the sprites by adding/changing your name in the coding. Add this to your user page.

Re: Shiny Tips?
Latest comment: 29 April 20101 comment1 person in discussion
I'm glad you checked out my User page, which is a bit outdated. To make it simple, most of my shinies were gotten using the easiest LEGIT method there is, soft-resetting.
In my oppinion, soft-resetting is the fastest & simplest way of getting a shiny. Why you ask? Just save before "seeing" the Pokémon you want and be patient until it shines.
That's how I got the starters, which took me 2 days/6 hours each, & Groudon, which took me 2 whole weeks & gave me a hell of a fight, by the way. Surskit was randomly found while a swarm was taking place on Route 120, and I was actually looking for an Absol.
Finally, to get Poochyena I saved on Route 103 and repeated this: encounter 10 random Pokémon then restart. All I recommend to any Pokémon Fan/Trainer who wants to get/find/catch an alternate colorPokémon is to be determined and persistent. Also, a bit of luck is always welcome. Hope this could help! ~SaitoFX05:10, 29 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

I noticed on the Archives that you have been uploading static versions of the animated overworld sprites, as seen here and here. If you find any pages that are in need of these sprites, please let me know, so I can upload animated versions of them. Since there are so many left to upload, I usually only upload them when there is a need for it. Thanks. —♥Jello03:05, 17 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hey 050, I noticed that you included crunch' in ash's gibles moves used section however it was never even commanded by Ash then how can you be possibly sure that it was crunch? It can be bite as well. We never include any attack until it's commanded or mentioned by character himself. Crunch was not mentioned in the dub version and not in the original japanese version either. So, please do not add such kind of info on articles in the future. The Pokemon has the idea of Japan a lot. Procambarus clarkii is named a アメリカザリガニ(american crayfish) in Japan. The pattern of the body is very similar to the national flag.

Why not? It's a funny bit of trivia that comes from how similar the male Burungel looks to the mascot of Pringles. I didn't put it origins or anywhere stupid like that. --Mackinz of SoulSilver14:22, 25 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, but we try to discourage look-a-like trivia or fan theories unless we can prove there is some sort of basis for this. Take Smugleaf, for example. We were only able to mention that on the Tsutarja article after an official magazine mentioned the moniker. —darklordtrom10:12, 26 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
Since when is "Trivia" supposed to be officially announced? Isn't trivia supposed to be the funny little tidbits people may or may not notice without reading the "Trivia" section?--Mackinz of SoulSilver15:13, 26 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Because it's not implied that it's shell was taken, it's confirmed (also I'm sure that everyone call see that it's shell was taken) Ataro18:34, 28 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
(Edit conflicted: So why remove it, then? There's no mention of this in Agirudaa's page - only the physiology section for Shubarugo has it.) That doesn't mean it shouldn't be mentioned in Agirudaa's page, it's relevant to both of them. --Poppy:318:42, 28 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
The Special Abilities section does not specifically mention that the recipient of its shell is Shubarugo, and the Pokédex entry is hardly an obvious place to look given that the face text is currently in Japanese (and yes, I do know that a translation is given by mousing over). It should be mentioned specifically in the physiology section. --Poppy:318:57, 28 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
Your logic that Pokemon obtained only by breeding are not exclusives means that no Pokemon are exclusive to any version save legendaries, as since they can be bred in other versions, they are thus not exclusives.
It is very against the rules. There is no reason to edit war when there's a talk page begging to be used for discussion. As per the rules you are blocked one day per revert, minus the initial edit. You reverted 4 times, so you are being blocked for 4 days. You've done a lot of good work around here, so I do hope you heed this warning and remember next time. -- MAGNEDETH05:25, 14 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
Do not add information on the Cardinal Sins in their origins. You have just come back from a block due to edit warring. You don't want another one, do you? If you disagree, you should discuss it on the talk pages. You've been here long enough to know that. --ケンジのガール05:46, 18 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
Hi, for Pokémon disambiguation pages it's being changed now so that Pokémon names redirect directly to the page on the species and not the the disambiguation page. Pikiwyntalk23:07, 23 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Tornelos and Erufuun do not share the same species name. Tornelos is the せんぷうポケモン and Erufuun is the かぜかくれポケモン. They are different. They just share the same fan-made name on here because Erufuun's name was translated poorly. (Yaminokame23:02, 1 December 2010 (UTC))Reply

Removing talk page comments, including the initial welcome template, is prohibited per Bulbapedia's talk page policy. Please do not remove any comments in the future. If you wish to clean old comments away, you should archive your talk page instead. Thank you! --CrystalTalian22:23, 28 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
Ah, did I accidentally remove any comments? I didn't see any of them removed myself; I was trying to remove an old table I made a long time ago to make the talk page "fancy" because it's an eyesore now. Is removing the table that I custom made, that simply surrounded the talk page comments, considered removing comments? - 050294 (talk) 22:30, 28 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
Ah nevermind, I get it. I had forgotten about talk page rules; I haven't been editing on bulbapedia in a long, long time so I'm not too familiar with them anymore. I suppose I'll archive it then, my apologies. - 050294 (talk) 22:40, 28 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
