The New Year 2024 event was held between January 1 and January 7, 2024 and event bonuses were available in all areas. The Kanto first partner Pokémon, Pikachu, and the Snover family had boosted appearance rates, and other rewards included bonus experience and sleep points.

Event Bonuses

Over the course of the event the amount of experience earned during sleep was increased to 1.5× and many Pokémon of different sleep types could be found. Bonus sleep points were also rewarded, with 200 each day from the 2-6 January and then 512 on January 1 and 7 giving a total of 2,024 over the event period.
