Event Bonuses

Over the course of the event, double the amount of Dream Shards were received after sleep research. To further increase the amount of Dream Shards that could be received, the Dream Shard Magnet S skill was reworked and given a 2× boost. Ice-type Pokémon had a higher chance of being encountered, a few Pokémon of different sleep styles could be encountered and the odds of encountering a Shiny were also boosted. The event-limited Candy Boost allowed Pokémon to get twice the usual amount of experience from candies in exchange for six times the usual amounts of Dream Shards per candy. On the final day of the event, many Pokémon of different sleep styles could be encountered and players were given a bonus 1,225 sleep points.

During the fifth Good Sleep Day, on December 26 and 28, drowsy power was multiplied by 1.5×, Pokémon received double the experience after sleep research and players received an extra 500 sleep points. On December 27, drowsy power was multiplied by 2.5×, Pokémon received triple the experience after sleep research and players received an extra 1000 sleep points. Across all three nights, Cleffa, Clefairy and Clefable were more likely to be encountered.
