Niko (Japanese: ルカ Luka), Rob (Japanese: ライ Rai), and Dash (Japanese: ボッコ Bocco) are characters of the day who appeared in Hatenna and the Otherworldly. They are doppelgängers of Liko, Roy, and Dot.
The three are Trainers who came to study in the Tera Training course at Naranja Academy. While travelling, the group became lost in the same forest as Liko, Roy, and Dot. After wandering aimlessly for a while, Niko's bag broke its straps and she made a strap from a vine on a nearby tree. This sparked the fury of an Annihilape, as the vine was how it, Mankey, and Primeape reached their food supply. The group was chased by Annihilape for a while, but they got injured while trying to escape, until they met Liko and her friends. Despite Roy's insistence that they battle the wild Pokémon together, Niko and her friends fled into the forest again.
The trio reappeared in Showdown! The Paldea Elite Four at Naranja Academy, being welcomed by Clavell and Jacq along with the other students who had submitted their school reports and thus completed the first part of the training course. In The Terapagos I Don't Know, they were present during Clavell's speech that started the second part of Tera Training.
In HZ066, during the conclusion of the course, Niko, Rob, and Dash heard Clavell's speech regarding the Tournament that will be held for the course's students. It was revealed that Dash had failed the Implementation test. Although sad that her Tera Orb would be taken away, Dash was happy to learn she'd be able to use it one last time in the upcoming tournament and was cheered up by Niko. Later Niko was seen battling Ann in the first round of the tournament, with the result left unknown. In the next episode, Rob battled Dot and her Quaxwell with his Darumaka, only to be defeated.
Pokémon
All three have atleast one other Pokémon each, as they participated in the second phase of Tera Training, which requires two Pokémon.
Niko
Roserade is Niko's only known Pokémon and is usually seen outside of its Poké Ball. In Hatenna and the Otherworldly, Roserade was seen injured alongside her Trainer when she encountered Liko, Roy, and Dot in the forest. After the two groups were introduced to each other, Hatenna healed the injuries of Roserade and her fellow Pokémon.
In HZ066, Roserade was used in a battle against Ann's Dewott in the tournament held between Tera Training students. The winner of the battle was not seen.
None of Roserade's moves are known.

Darumaka is Rob's only known Pokémon.
In HZ067, Rob used Darumaka in his Course Students Battle Tournament battle against Dot, only to be defeated by her Quaxwell.
