Luke's Golett (Japanese: ルークのゴビットLuke's Gobit) is a Pokémon owned by Luke, acting as its movie assistant.
History
Golett and Luke
Golett debuted in Movie Time! Zorua in "The Legend of the Pokémon Knight"!, running beside Luke as they tried to retrive his runaway Zorua whilst carrying its Trainer's tripod, after which Luke introduces Golett as his assistant. Later in the episode, Golett helped its Trainer film his latest movie, The Legend of the Pokémon Knight, manning the Clapperboard and assisting Luke with the camera. When Team Rocket attacked the group and stole Zorua, Luke commanded Golett to use Shadow Ball, destroying the plane and bringing Team Rocket and Zorua back to earth.
Golett appeared again in An Epic Defense Force! where it once again helped with Luke's movie, though it now starred in the movie instead of helping with carrying equipment. In the movie, Golett appeared to evolve into Golurk, though it was revealed at the end that Golett had not really evolved, having stepped back for Zorua who took over its role with her Illusion ability.
Personality and characteristics
Golett has an important role in Luke's party, acting as his assistant and co-director for his movie, helping him out in his film by carrying Luke's equipment, such as his camera, and also manning the camera when Luke can't, such as in Reunion Battles in Nimbasa! when Luke was in front of the camera, making a documentary. Golett also holds the Clapperboard in front of the camera when filming begins.
