In Ludlow's Homecoming!, Quagsire stayed on the airship to watch it with Murdock. Later, Quagsire sensed the group of Tatsugiri heading towards a whirpool and goes to help them. Seeing the Tatsugiri and a Wooper in trouble, Quagsire used Surf to help Ludlow in his Mighty G altar ego and Sharpedo so they can get the group of Pokémon out of the whirpool safety.
In Riding the Waves, Quagsire joined Ludlow and Sharpedo in teaching Amethio how to cook and how to fend for himself.
Personality and characteristics
Contrary to what it might seem, Quagsire is quite a strong Pokémon, being able to summon massive waves with its Surf attack and control them quite effectively, as shown in Lapras's Feelings for its Friends, allowing it to keep the Brave Olivine safe from Lapras's pirates's attacks. Its also quite close to Ludlow, occasionally sitting beside him as the latter goes fishing, looking quite relaxed with the peaceful enviroment.
Quagsire is shown to be kind to other Pokémon, as seen in A Challenge from the Explorers when it gave Dot's Tinkatink some of its Pecha Berries to eat. Sometimes, Quagsire would stay to watch the airship whenever Ludlow wasn't around.
