Milotic appeared in Queen of the Serpentine! as the second Pokémon used by Lucy during her Battle Pike match against Ash, going up against his Donphan. It immediately managed to knock out the Armor Pokémon with a single Hydro Pump attack after Donphan left itself open whilst using Take Down. Milotic then battled against Pikachu and despite managing to cause a considerable amount of damage to the Electric-type Pokémon, it was ultimately defeated after using Volt Tackle within one of Milotic's Twisters.
Personality and characteristics
Milotic seems to be one of Lucy's most trustworthy Pokémon, as she decided to use it last for her battle with Ash at the Battle Pike instead of her trademark Seviper. It was shown to be very powerful, managing to knock out Ash's Donphan with a single hit, while also managing to push Pikachu to the brink of defeat in spite of Milotic having the type disadvantage.
Milotic appeared An Infinite Bond!!, playing the same role it did in the animation, with the one major difference being the battle was a Single Battle between Milotic and Pikachu, which did not involve Donphan or Seviper. In the end, Ash was able to defeat Milotic and win the battle.
Milotic debuted in Moving Past Milotic, being chosen as Lucy's third Pokémon used in her battle against Emerald, which began properly on the next chapter. She fought Emerald's Starmie, but was quickly defeated by a Thunderbolt before Starmie fainted from its status ailment. Later, she was used to take Lucy to the Artisan Cave. During the Battle Dome tournament, Milotic helped usher in visitors to their seats.
