Twitch is an online live-streaming platform, owned by Amazon. The service allows users to create and see live streams, comment on them, and subscribe to other users' "channels".
It is used by Play! Pokémon since the 2013 World Championships to officially broadcast some of its minor tournaments, Regional Championships and Special Championships as well all International and World Championships events. Covered games are presented in the specific channels for each game. Days from International and World Championships events that only feature the Final match are however showcased exclusively in the Pokemon channel.
Starting within the Pokémon Day 2016, Twitch is also often used to show already aired Pokémon animated series episodes and movies, commonly through the Pokemon channel. Episodes are usually shown on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 2:00PM PT, with movies shown on the first Saturday of each month at 6:00PM PT.

Twitch Extension
| This section is incomplete. Please feel free to edit this section to add missing information and complete it. Reason: Info about the Twitch Extension interactive overlay (captions, schedule, etc.) |

Unlike on YouTube, Twitch live streams for events can feature an overlay for minor features, including collecting "Watch Badges" from events that are merely cosmetic and being able to hover on Trading Card Game cards in the stream's HUD to see their full view.
Twitch Drops
- Main article: Twitch Drops
Beginning in the 2023 North America International, International and Worlds Championships streams award viewers which have watched them through a certain period of time rewards known as Drops, in the form of items for the stream's related games. Since the 2024 World Championships, other Drops are also available in co-streams of the same events from partnered channels. Some of the rewards are only obtainable through these methods.
To earn them, the viewer requires to link their Twitch and Pokémon Trainer Club accounts in the Pokémon Twitch Rewards Program page, claim the rewards while watching the streams live and logged in said Twitch account, and then generate a code to claim the items in their respective games at the Rewards Program page. Rewards will expire if not claimed past a certain date.
Twitch Global Badges
Twitch Badges (not to be mistaken with Watch Badges) are small icons displayed next to a viewers username as they talk in streamers chats. Twitch Global Badges are rewarded to viewers who subscribe or gift subscriptions to streamers, while they stream in a specific category.
