Release information
This card was included in the Sun & Moon expansion, first released in the Japanese Collection Sun. It was also printed in the Japanese Sun & Moon Starter Set released on the same day, December 9, 2016. In Japan, it was reprinted as a Mirror Holofoil in the GX Battle Boost subset and as a Non Holofoil in the Fire Charizard-GX and Metal Metagross-GX Starter Decks.
Trivia
This card's effect is similar to that of Dual Ball, first released in the Expedition Base Set. The difference is that Timer Ball searches for Evolution Pokémon cards, while Dual Ball searches for Basic Pokémon cards.
Origin
The Timer Ball is a type of Poké Ball introduced in Generation III that works better in battles that have lasted longer.
