Tetsuya Watanabe (Japanese: 渡辺哲也 Watanabe Tetsuya) is a senior programmer at Game Freak who has been involved with the Pokémon franchise ever since the original Pokémon Red and Green games. He acts as a program director in various core series titles. Nowadays, he is usually involved as a supervisor and advisor on various games along Junichi Masuda.
