When a Pokémon with Teravolt uses a move, the effects of all Pokémon's ignorable Abilities are ignored for the execution of that move. (Ignorable Abilities are most Abilities that could potentially negatively affect the success, damage, or effects of a move if possessed by the target of a move or its allies.) For example, a Pokémon with Teravolt that uses Thunder can hit opponents that have Lightning Rod.
When a Pokémon with Teravolt is brought out, the message "<name> is radiating a bursting aura!" will be displayed.
Damage dealt by the Pokémon's moves is not influenced by the foe's Ability.* The Pokémon's moves are not influenced by the target's Ability! Electric-type moves can damage even a Pokémon with the Volt Absorb Ability.*
