Column Width
Is there any way somebody could change the column width for Egg Moves that gain new potential fathers in PtHGSS for this template, Breed3 and Breed2? There are moves like Curse which, thanks to the inclusion of Bidoof and Bibarel as new parents midway in Gen IV, have the DP column widened, making every other column narrower and lengthening the page as a result. - Blazios talk 09:31, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
- It's not just PtHGSS that does this. Crystal, FRLG, and HGSS do it, too. Crunch is drastically pumped in height simply because Ekans' one entry for Crystal forces the table to pile the fathers two to a row instead of three to a row. Luna Tiger * the Arc Toraph 11:04, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
- I've made the widths larger for the Gen III and IV tables, since they were actually no different from the Gen II ones and the header width is fixed. I'm kinda cautious about making the template too wide for smaller monitors, so I'll have to look in to a more complicated/adjusted if statement for the widths, which may not work in all cases. It doesn't help that the later gen ones don't seem to be using the set widths anyway. The DPPt section and HGSS section should each be exactly half the width of the Gen IV box with the current specifications, but they aren't on several pages. So I'll have to look in to that when I get the time as well. (Unless someone else gets to it first.) Werdnae (talk) 06:35, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
- Completely misinterpreted the second issue, got that figured out and fixed now. I'm still not sure why the the template doesn't appear to be following the set widths (unless I screwed up one of the switches, and it is following the incorrectly set set widths). - And indeed, I had set it wrong. Or more accurately, not set the DP width at all with those parameter combinations. Should be fixed (on Gen III at least) now. Werdnae (talk) 06:03, 23 July 2011 (UTC)
