Team Verdant Defense Drain (Japanese: ＧＦ時攻撃時防御↑Ｇ＆防御↓Ｇ Group Defense Boost and Group Defense Reduction When Attacking in Grass Field) is a family of skills in Pokémon Masters EX.
Effect
When the user’s attack move is successful while the terrain on the battlefield is Grassy Terrain, it has a chance of raising the Defense of the user and their allies, as well as lowering the Defense of all opponents by one stat rank. The skill can range from Team Verdant Defense Drain 1 to Team Verdant Defense Drain 9, with higher numbered skills resulting in a higher chance of activation. Currently, only Team Verdant Defense Drain 9 is available on scoutable sync pairs.
The skill applies to the Pokémon's attack moves, including 
buddy moves, but not sync moves or 
max moves.
