Who catches Goomy?

A Goomy debuts in this episode and follows the group. What makes you think Ash is the one who catches it? It could go with either Clemont or Serena. The next episode is even called "Do Your Best, Dedenne! Do it for Goomy!!", which could be hinting that Clemont may be the one who catches it. --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 19:19, 11 December 2014 (UTC)

I have the same feeling. Chomper4 (talk) 19:46, 11 December 2014 (UTC)
Goomy is on a Japanese Christmas calendar with the rest of Ash's pokémon, so... yeah. --MatrVincent (talk) 23:52, 11 December 2014 (UTC)
I think Ash is going to catch it. I'm sure of it! Pikachu65 10:12, 12 December 2014 (UTC)
Do you have a link of the calender that shows Goomy with Ash's Pokémon? --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 02:34, 15 December 2014 (UTC)
Please go to the forums to have these kinds of conversation. The talk page is for improving the article.--ForceFire 03:25, 15 December 2014 (UTC)
I'm only asking why this page is written as if Ash is the one that will catch Goomy when there isn't enough evidence to support it. --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 19:06, 15 December 2014 (UTC)
How could it belong to anyone else? The summary outright says Ash is going to get it. Having Ash be the main person who is trying to help Goomy only for it to be caught by someone else makes no logical sense, and would be the biggest insult to Ash's character. Plus Goomy is confirmed to fully evolve. Ash with a Goodra makes far more sense than any other character. Why is there doubt here? No one else makes any remote sense, logically speaking based on all the evidence. At best, AT best, NO ONE catches it. But if someone IS going to catch it, it HAS to be Ash. --Dman dustin (talk) 23:41, 20 December 2014 (UTC)

Mistake or not?

When Ash takes Goomy to the nearby river, Clemont, Bonnie and Serena stay at the top of the cliff, but when he and Goomy land at the water, the three are already down by the river. I feel like they could have went after him when he slipped down the cliff, but he went down way too fast for the others to catch up. Is this a mistake or not? --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 02:45, 15 January 2015 (UTC)
