Isn’t Roy the new leader of the RVT?

In Episode 122, Friede clearly states that Roy is the founder of the new Rising Volt Tacklers, he is the current leader and after defeating him in battle Roy tells Friede confidently that he can leave the group to him. Friede did not temporarily give him a leadership role, he is not “third-in-command”; Roy is just straight up the leader now. Not sure how whoever edited that completely missed that detail. Friede just outright did not take the leadership role back, he expects Roy to continue being the leader cuz that’s what’s he’s done up until now. Just cuz he left on a solo mission doesn’t mean he’s gonna be the leader when he comes back, that would defeat the purpose of the battle they had. Friede is officially just a member now and Roy is the new commander, he now ranks above Cap. let’s not unintentionally (cuz this just seems like a misunderstanding) downplay the significance of this episode.

I'm in agreement. You could still argue that Cap ranks above Roy, but "third-in-command" is a huge disservice to the significance of HZ122. Friede is not in a role of leadership of any kind right now, and in fact with him leaving at the end of 122 without a direct acknowledgement of his role on the crew, you could even argue he isn't currently part of the RVTs at all. Anyway regarding Roy as the leader at least, I hope the staff of this site will look into this as (intentionally or not) spreading major misinformation like this is a pretty big deal. Exactly. You bring up a good point about Cap technically still ranking above Roy especially as his senior but Roy is the new acting commander regardless. Friede is basically ex-commander, I do believe this should be changed. It is misinformation. Period. Go online and everyone's verdict is that Roy is the new leader, especially those on the Japanese side because that is what occured in this episode. Animeme09 (talk) 06:32, 22 December 2025 (UTC)

Captain Pikachu

Since Cap is still seen riding on Roy's shoulder, despite Friede being back, should he still be defined as a Pokémon currently traveling with Roy? -- FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 17:42, 21 March 2026 (UTC)

Yeah, I think so considering in HZ132 he's still traveling with Roy when Friede is not around I think it's safe to say Captain Pikachu is still with Roy for the time being. Gboy10 (talk) 20:51, 21 March 2026 (UTC)

Currently, all the RVTs are traveling together, so it's somewhat redundant. I think they want to give the impression that Captain Pikachu has the autonomy to go wherever he wants on Brave Asagi, and not that he's traveling with or without a specific person.
