Talk:Pokémon availability (Legends: Arceus)

Move

Per the manual of style's guidance on article titles, this article should be moved to a descriptive title, as it is not referring to something officially named "Pokémon availability" that needs to be disambiguated from another subject of the same name.

Disambiguation tags (dabtags) should only be used for subjects with the same or similar official names. Otherwise, prioritize using sentence-style descriptors over dabtags. For example, use "Pokémon in the United States" instead of "Pokémon (United States)".

I agree, moving to Pokémon availability in Pokémon Legends: Arceus makes perfect sense under the policy. A more descriptive title, avoiding brackets wherever possible, is a better title. Thespeon196 (talk) 19:17, 4 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yes, I agree about using the name without brackets as per the policy. --Daniel Carrero (talk) 02:59, 5 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
It was suggested that a slightly simpler (and less clunky) title might be Pokémon available in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, as this article broadly explores what Pokémon are available in this game, including forms, and where/how they are available. If we feel readers may be looking for a full "List of Pokémon available in Pokémon Legends: Arceus", we could link to the LAdex in the intro or as a hatnote. Landfish7 18:49, 6 March 2025 (UTC)Reply
In my opinion, the best title is the one that includes "availability".
The other title (Pokémon available in Pokémon Legends: Arceus) sounds like a simple list of Pokémon. But if people want it, I understand this is not a big deal and can be alleviated by the hatnote as said above. --Daniel Carrero (talk) 18:59, 6 March 2025 (UTC)Reply
