Relation to Peony and Rose

Want to bring up this discussion because @ElementalNinjas12 mentioned it in the history for the Lida page. Per our own notes, Penny is only "implied" to be the daughter of Peony via similar dialogues; is this enough as evidence for a relation? Or should we put Penny's father under "unnamed" like Lida and Tierno (the way they have various similarities but their familial relation is ultimately only implied via Lida saying she has a big brother)? anZAsquiddles 2222(:D)SSSS (talk) 07:16, 24 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

I'd put "unnamed father (implied Peony)[1]" in the infobox. Rocket Grunt 16:40, 24 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
I don't think the situations are equivalent. In Lida's case, we only know she has a big brother; she never mentions her brother again, nor does she ever talk to him, so we don't know anything about him. In Penny's case, she gives a description of her dad that matches Peony ("He's loud and clingy and makes up weird nicknames for me"), and while talking to her dad she quotes him using the word "Adven-tour", which is a word we've otherwise only heard Peony use. So if Penny's dad acts like Peony, and he uses words that only Peony uses, the simplest explanation is that Penny's dad is Peony. Storm Aurora (talk) 16:41, 24 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
I agree with this. There is a (lot) stronger implication in Penny/Peony's case than in Lida/Tierno's case. Lida only mentions having a older brother who dances, but otherwise there is nothing specific pointing to Tierno here.
So, I'd be okay with keeping the Penny/Peony implication in the infobox due to the stronger evidence (the hatnote still mentions "implied"), but move Lida/Tierno's mentions to trivia ("Lida is heavily implied to be the sister of Tierno, but this is never outright confirmed"). → SuperPikaPool13 17:33, 24 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
